Really Quick Monday Post

I know, it's not technically Monday anymore, but since I have not gone to bed yet, I still consider it Monday.  And I was bound and determined that I would not do another Monday on Tuesday post so here I am.

Really quickly, I wanted to update on how the weightloss and running/exercising has been going... well, to be honest, it hasn't really been going... I am down to 172 as of this morning, but running hasn't happened recently.

A week and a half ago while running/walking, the inside of my calves started to hurt... like really hurt, like more than a normal muscle ache kind of hurt.  So I finished up the run and chalked it up to being really out of shape.  While I am not arguing that I'm really out of shape, my muscles didn't feel better for quite a few days.  Just walking around hurt.  Then after that, they didn't hurt walking, but if I squated or jogged a little, it really hurt again.  So I haven't been out running since.

However, Tim and I have been good about getting out and getting exercise.  For example, a few days ago, we rollerbladed 6 or so miles.  Then last night, we biked about the same.  Today we didn't but that's because last night Tim bit the dust on one of the curves and skinned his knee.  So we took it easy.

In other, slightly related news, we did make a big purchase today... we are now the proud owners of a Wii!


It's great!  And Tim made the comment that he got sweaty [ick] playing it this evening... so I guess we did sort-of exercise : )
