Our Garden

We planted our garden a few weeks ago... actually 2weeks and 1 day prior to today (May 20).  A little back story about the garden... last year, we planted a garden that was about 8 x 12.  In this fenced in area, we had 2 bell peppers, 4 tomatoes, 4 mini watermelons, 4 cucumbers, 4 kohlrabi, 2 zucchini, 2 summer squash and 4 okra... we WAY over planted for the size space we had!

SO this year, we decided to get smart and increase the size but keep the number of plants about the same.  That was all well and good until we went plant shopping at one of the many local greenhouses!

I'm so excited about what we have in it!  We have:
1 Green Bell Pepper
1 Purple Bell Pepper

4 Cayenne Peppers

8? Okras
3 Zucchinis
3 Summer Squash
4 Brussel Sprouts
4 Cucumbers
1 Roma Tomato
1 Cherry Tomato
1 Mortgage Lifter Tomato (Big fruit)
1 Yellow Heirloom Tomato (Big fruit)
1 Early Girl Tomato

So we went a little overboard... oh well... I'm excited! [you can click the pictures to make them bigger]
