Tonight before I head to bed, I wanted to say how thankful I am for the friends God has put in my life.  Some friends are ones who even though we do not see each other more than a few times a year, we still feel like no time has passed.  We can pick up on old conversations, but still feel close enough that new conversations flow easily.  We can support each other through the different stages of life that we pass through, even if we hit them at different times. 
Other friends I see much more often and am so thankful for the support, prayers and laughter they bring to the friendship.  It is refreshing to be able to be transparent with someone without fearing judgement.  To laugh with them when we realize we were both thinking the same ridiculous thoughts.

Thank you God for the friends you have put in my life.  For extending my family!
