My good friend shared this fruit salad with me back in March or April. I loved it! Then felt to cheap to buy the yummy fruits to make it so I have it for a while. Well, today we had a family reunion, and like usual, I didn't think to figure out something to make until the last minute. But what came to mind... the fruit salad. Since I couldn't figure out the proportions of lime juice and honey I did a quick search online to find one measured for me and this the one I found and used.
Honey Lime Fruit Salad
I chose to use 1 pint of blueberries, 3/4 lb of strawberries, 2 small bunches of red grapes and 2 fuji apples.
It was once again delicious and wonderful. It's sweet and tangy. The juice and honey isn't too overpowering, but still noticeable. Super easy to throw together and very forgiving on what fruits you choose to use. My cousin's oldest [11 yrs old] commented that I should make it for them the next time I'm over to babysit... so he apparently liked it too!
Anyway, thought I'd share it since is a favorite of mine and maybe can be a favorite of yours too :)
