Day 3 - Today I am thankful for babies.
Having J in our life is a great joy (at least most days). It is fun to see him grow and change even in just these few months we've had him. Also, I'm looking forward to May when we'll have two new nieces or nephews!! Yesterday my sis (Hi sis :) called to share their news that another one is on the way, and earlier in September we found out my sis-in-law on the other side is expecting and due early May. It will be a fun month and I am so excited to meet both of them! Finally, today I spent the morning at a baby shower celebrating a coming baby (due in ten days) for one of my really good friends/adopted sisters. It was great to catch up with her and her family and her in-laws. Babies bring people together in great ways are truly are a blessing!
Day 2 - I am thankful for a husband who is willing to pick up hours a work!
Day 1 - I am thankful for a job I enjoy doing.
Who was the baby shower for? I'm curious who is due in 10 days.
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm thankful for sleep. My 4yo says, "It's so fun! I just close my eyes and then the movie starts RIGHT inside my head!" Yep, he's so right - sleep is good and refreshing.
Sleep is a wonderful thing!! J just needs to figure out how to begin the movie before 11pm though. The shower was for Melissa. So I was able to see her and the rest of her family on Saturday. It was great to catch up!
ReplyDeleteI bet that was fun to see Melissa! My oldest still talk about Melissa's sister, and times he got to meet her. It's interesting how just a few times meeting someone can impact a child.
