I just about died!

So my middle sis [Sandi] sent out an email earlier two weeks ago, asking if we wanted to join her in a running endeavor.  It's an eight week program designed to get you from not running at all to running for 30 minutes straight.  Over the course of the eight weeks, they expect that 6 days out of the week you will run/walk for 30 minutes alternating on a set schedule of how many minutes to do each.  For example, day 1 is Run 1 minute, walk 2 minutes, repeat 10 times.

Oh.my.goodness.

I nearly died.

I guess I didn't realize how out of shape I really am... well, I knew I was out of shape, but I still thought that 1 minute of running wouldn't be that bad...

I was horribly mistaken!

But, in an effort to feel much better about myself, to feel sexier for my hubby, to get in better shape before I get pregnant (which by the way doesn't look like it'll be this month), I will press on.

So if you see me red faced, exhausted and running pathetically slow for the next 7 weeks 5 days, feel free to throw water on me and encourage me to press on.

In other news, while I am doing this 8 week challenge, I'm going to post weekly pictures of me in my swimsuit and record my weight.  Hopefully at the end of the 8 weeks I will be able to see a difference!  That is my goal!

So today I weigh 174 in my swimsuit, and here are today's starting pictures... sorry to subject you to these!



Ugg, but oh well... time to face reality of how I look.  I will look better in 8 weeks!  I know I will!
